Welcome to MrGuitar! Our mission is to help every guitarist enjoy their instrument to the fullest. Please review the following policies to understand how we operate, protect your interests, and deliver the best possible service.

Service & Booking Policies

Booking Appointment

  • All services must be booked in advance through our online system at MrGuitar.ca.
  • When booking, you’ll select your preferred service type (virtual or in-person), date, and time.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with appointment details upon successful booking. 
  • If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to retain your deposit.

Service Call Fee

  • A Service Call Fee will be charged for in-person appointments.
  • This fee covers travel to your location and the first 15 minutes of on-site personal time (for assessment, discussion, and planning).
  • The Service Call Fee also applies if you’d prefer to have your guitar picked up for off-site work at my personal workshop (the Rabbit Hole).
  • If no further work is performed on site, this is the only charge.

Payment Methods

  • Cash and e-transfer are accepted.
  • Coming soon: secure online payment via our website.

Service Offerings

  • Mobile Guitar Consultation & Setup: Onsite visits for inspections, setups, repairs, and personalized lessons.
  • Virtual Consultations: Advice, troubleshooting, and guidance via phone or video.
  • Emergency/Same-day Service: Available after hours for urgent repairs, subject to availability.
  • Lessons: Personalized, non-traditional guitar lessons (in-person or virtual).

Warranty & Liability

Parts & Workmanship

  • Parts supplied by MrGuitar are warrantied for the same period as provided by the manufacturer.
  • Strings are only covered if defective from the manufacturer.

Modifications & Waivers

  • Any client-requested modification that could risk instrument integrity requires a signed waiver releasing MrGuitar from liability.

Quality Control & Documentation

  • Every instrument receives a detailed inspection and play test before and after a service.
  • Work is documented with photos, videos, and a written checklist.
  • Clients receive a summary and demonstration of all improvements.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of your Service Call Fee.

Privacy Policy

  • All client information is handled with strict confidentiality and will never be shared or sold.
  • Data security measures include the use of VPNs, private passwords with regular rotation, and secured computers to protect client data and payment details.

Terms of Use

  • By booking any service with MrGuitar, you agree to these Policies & Terms.
  • MrGuitar reserves the right to update these terms as needed. The latest version will always be available on mrguitar.ca.
